About the Role:
Front Range Outdoor Solutions is looking for a professional, detail-oriented Maintenance Crew Leader to oversee landscape maintenance operations throughout Northern Colorado. In this leadership role, you’ll guide a team, ensure quality work on every property, and uphold the high standards our clients have come to expect. This is a full-time, year-round position with strong growth potential as our company continues to expand.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a maintenance crew in daily landscape operations
- Perform and oversee mowing, trimming, pruning, bed care, and irrigation checks
- Apply herbicides and fertilizers safely, following Colorado state regulations
- Operate and maintain commercial landscape equipment
- Train, coach, and support crew members
- Communicate with management and clients regarding job progress
- Assist with snow removal during winter months
- Support seasonal improvement and enhancement projects
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of landscape maintenance or groundskeeping experience
- Leadership or crew lead experience preferred
- Colorado pesticide/herbicide license (QS or CO) or willingness to obtain within 60 days
- Strong knowledge of turf care, horticulture, and irrigation
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Dependable, safety-focused work ethic
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.

About the Role:
The Maintenance Team Apprentice position is the perfect entry point into the landscape industry. You’ll work alongside experienced crew members and leaders while learning the fundamentals of professional landscaping. This role is designed for individuals who want to build a long-term career and grow into more advanced positions within Front Range Outdoor Solutions.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include working on landscape and hardscape projects with a focus on detail and quality, receiving guidance from the job site foreman, and applying acquired skills. Additionally, performing daily tasks associated with scheduled jobs is required.
- Assist with mowing, trimming, edging, and general landscape maintenance
- Learn to safely operate commercial landscape equipment
- Support irrigation inspections and basic troubleshooting
- Maintain clean and organized tools, equipment, and vehicles
- Help with seasonal enhancement projects
- Participate in snow removal during winter (training provided)
Qualifications:
- No landscape experience required — we will train you
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Positive attitude and reliability
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather
- Driver’s license preferred but not required

About the Role:
Our Installation / Design-Build Apprentice position is ideal for someone interested in learning the craft of landscape construction — from hardscapes and grading to planting, irrigation, and outdoor living projects. You’ll gain hands-on experience working with our skilled installation team while playing a key role in transforming outdoor spaces across Northern Colorado.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with landscape and hardscape installations
- Help set grades, prepare soil, plant landscapes, and install mulch
- Learn to install irrigation systems and low-voltage lighting
- Support installation of patios, walkways, and other outdoor living features
- Operate hand tools and small equipment safely
- Maintain clean, organized, and efficient job sites
Qualifications:
- No experience required — we welcome and train beginners
- Interest in construction, craftsmanship, or outdoor work
- Ability to lift, dig, carry materials, and work in all weather
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn
- Driver’s license preferred
